ABOUT THE CAMP

The Cadre Camp is a gruelling Special Forces selection inspired training camp open to all applicants, civilian and military, who wish to gain an insight into the Special Forces selection processes, and test their ability to function within and lead a team under duress. 

There are limited places on the Camp given on a first come first serve basis upon payment.  


PREREQUISITES

PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT

Course participants MUST COMPLETE CAMP REGISTRATION FORM. LINK BELOW.

Personal Details form including the following details: 

  • head shot photo (via email);

  • Contact details;

  • Emergency contact details;

  • Dietary requirements and any allergies;

  • Physical impairments and medication.

  • Check the 'I agree' button for the waiver.


RECOVERY 

On completion of the Camp please allow 3 hours to conduct candidates individual feedback sessions. If you do not wait for your session feedback will not be provided.

on completion of the camp we recommend the following: 

  • Organise someone to be on call to pick you up at the end of the Camp (especially if you have a long drive home). 

  • If flying from interstate, arrange accommodation close by (please advise if you require recommendations). Ask for a late checkout on Sunday if you are flying out that night.

  • Consider and prepare for the recovery you will need: sleep, nutrition, massage, hot/ cold shower, rest. 


TIMINGS

START-TIME: 19:00 

Camp briefings will start at 19:00 sharp so please arrive at least 20 minutes early.

 LOCATION 

ADDRESS: theMill Gym - 1 Coventry Parade, North Fremantle (map)

PARKING: Street parking around the camp address. Do NOT park outside Matilda Bay Brewing Company on Coventry Pde (your car will be towed).


FOOD & DRINK 

All food and drink will be provided for the duration of the Camp. Please ensure you return the dietary requirements/allergies information on the Personal Details form provided. We suggest you eat a decent meal prior to your arrival. 


WHAT TO BRING


ON THE PERSON

Below is a list of things to bring with you: 

  • Plain white t-shirt

  • Long lightweight pants

  • A pair of socks

  • BELT (TROUSER)

  • Pair of training/running shoes


IN BACK PACK

[MIN 30 LITRES]

 

YOUR BACKPACK MUST CONTAIN:

  • Camelbak (OR SIMILAR) + water bottles (min 5 litres total)


  • Lightweight warm long sleeve (ThERMAL) top*


  • Head torch (and spare batteries)*


  • Lightweight rainproof jacket

  • Cap/hat


  • Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)*. Minimum:

    • Band aids and steri strips'

    • Iodine

    • Strapping tape

    • Vaseline

    • Sunscreen

    • Any personal medication

    *sealed in plastic zip lock bag


OVERNIGHT BAG

 

YOUR OVERNIGHT BAG MUST CONTAIN:

  • Wallet (leave valuables at home).

  • Mobile phone

  • Toiletries

  • Thongs

  • Towel

  • Spare socks

  • Cold weather jumper/jacket

  • Tracksuit/lightweight pants (spare)

  • Pair of socks (spare)

  • Plain white t-shirt (spare)


VALUABLES

There is no secure storage area for your valuables. Please leave as many valuables at home as possible.
